Just for protection. You have the local PD up front. Then the Secret Service with their batshit minigun Tahoes, then you need the extra decoy limos, then a van for all of his staffers/reporters, and one more Secret Service Tahoe for good measure.

Basically they're just really paranoid.

The presidents motorcade is probably 3 times as big. I've seen the vp's before and it's bigger than this one

Are you sure? That seems awful small for a Presidental Motorcade.. I've driven past the VP Motocade before in Cleveland and it was pretty damn long.

Speaking of things like this.. in 2016 Cleveland is hosting the GOP Convention.. It's going to be a cluster-fuck.. YAY!

That is good to know. I thought he always rode in it due to the heavier armor. I know that when he visited Houston, the Beast flew in first on a C17. I got to watch that land.
